Course 4: Working in Fashion Media

_LWA9352 I’ve reached what is without a doubt the section of the course I was looking forward to the most: fashion media! It’s what brings fashion from the runways to the consumers. It focuses on how two of my passions — photography and social media, are used to catch the eye of those who are interested in fashion.

As a fashion blogger, I’m interested in writing, creating visuals, and engaging my readers. This section of the course really helped me to understand the important role fashion media plays in explaining brands to people. Instagrammers: My Fave 15

Hey guys,

I think I can safely say this is my most researched blog post of all time. It’s crazy to think how huge Instagram has gotten in 5 years, and I am most definitely on the bandwagon. It is awesome to watch the follower’s count grow and grow. Using an instagram like bot might prove to be the catalyst of your own instagram growth! I love seeing pretty photos and finding inspiring people to follow so I thought I would share some of my favourite Instagrammers at the moment:

This has to be one of my very favourite accounts just for photo inspo. And hair inspo. I love the bright, grey finish on her photos and her style is always so on point.

Hey guys,

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I had such a nice one catching up with my family and friends. On Friday, I went for a gorgeous dinner in Brasserie Sixty6 with my mom and two sisters, then went to see the movie Brooklyn. The perfect relaxing Friday evening, despite the emotions caused by the movie haha. If you haven’t seen it yet I’d definitely recommend it!

Saturday I went for drinks in Dublin with my friends Eve, Leah and Erika. I’ve barely been out in Dublin since I’ve been back – so it was nice. I then spent the whole day yesterday just relaxing and enjoying having no plans. Continue Reading…
