I hope you’re all enjoying the run up to Christmas. I can’t believe how fast it has sprung up on me this year. I had no presents even sorted until this week, and I’m still not done which is very unlike me, but honestly can you blame me for not wanting to go out shopping in this weather? It actually makes me laugh how bad it is. I feel Teresa Mannion‘s pain on a daily basis haha.
I can’t wait to finish up work next week and to head home to Limerick for a week of just eating, chilling and catching up with friends. I’m going to be visiting friends in Kerry and Galway too before returning to Dublin for New Years so I’m excited to do a bit of travelling too – I tend to get cabin fever fairly quickly haha!
I shot this look as part of my recent collaboration with Parfois (all accessories are Parfois). I love the lace top and metallic skirt together – it makes for the perfect Christmas party outfit. Shooting blog posts has definitely become a little bit more challenging since I’ve come home to Ireland, mainly due to the weather – but it’s all about being creative and working with what you’ve got which in this case was an extremely bright furniture shop (Casey’s Limerick) and a great photographer (Cormac Byrne).
I am excited it’s coming to the end of the year it’s been such a good one and I’ve so many great memories to look back on. Time to start making some new plans and goals for 2016. I have my first New Year’s resolution sorted – I’ll be taking up Hip-Hop dance classes again with my friend Dearbhla 🙂 I can hear some of my friends laughing at me already. I’ve also purchased some gym gear as I plan on being healthier and more fit in the New Year, although I think I just bought it so I don’t feel so bad as I indulge over the next two weeks – either way it’s a start 😉
I’m going to get brainstorming for a few more New Years resolutions to kick start 2016. If it’s half as good to me as 2015 was I’ll be happy,
Hope you’re all enjoying the Christmassyness,
