10 Cute Places to Grab a Coffee in Dublin

April 4, 2016

Hey guys,

Happy Monday! What an appropriate day to share a post about coffee 🙂

It’s been a while since I’ve done a post like this – I think the last time I shared a list of places to try I was in New York. I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long but Dublin has some really great foodie spots and any of you who follow me on Snapchat (username: lou1409) might have noticed I’m a fan of finding new, cute places to try.

I’ve compiled a list of my ten favourite places to grab a coffee in Dublin because I know I’m not the only one who enjoys a pretty cup of a coffee 😉

  1. Alchemy Juice Co.

Located in BT2 on Grafton street it’s the perfect spot to take a break from shopping. From cute coffees, to healthy juices to sweet snacks – they have it all and it’s all good for you. It’s definitely one of the best guilt free pit stops in Dublin.

2. Balfes

This is a great brunch/ lunch/ coffee date spot. Located on Balfe street beside the Westbury hotel it is a hidden gem in Dublin’s city centre. Baring in mind it is a little pricey – the decor, the food presentation and the overall experience definitely make it worth a trip at some stage.

3. Oolong Flower Power

With hundreds of different types of tea along side the best pizza in Dublin this place makes for a great lunch/ dinner/ catch-up spot. Only a few minutes walk from Stephen’s green it really is another hidden gem.

4. The Marker

The Marker speaks for itself and would probably make any ‘Places to Go’ list I would write about Dublin. The decor, the food, the drinks and the location are just perfect. Again it is a little on the expensive side – but you do get what you pay for here.

5. Third Space at the Y

If you’re looking for a pretty coffee for a reasonable price this is the place for you. The staff here are always so welcoming and the cafe itself is just very chilled. Located on Aungier Street it’s a little off the beaten track.

6. Berlin

This hipster café located on Clarendon street is the perfect lunch location.

7. Ladurée Café

This café is a new addition to Dublin and if you haven’t been yet – you have to add it to your list. Ladurée is located in the coolest spots around the world: The Champs Elyseés in Paris, Soho in New York, Covent Garden in London and now South William Street in Dublin. They are known for their pretty (but overpriced) macaroons.

8. 3fe café

Often referred to as ‘the best coffee in Dublin’ and in my opinion it is definitely the prettiest coffee in Dublin. If like me, you are partial to a heart in your coffee this place is a must try!

9. Marks and Spencer Café

This café or ‘The Restaurant’ as it is officially known, is located in the Penthouse of Marks and Spencer on Grafton Street. It is a rooftop café with glass walls over looking Dublin’s busiest shopping street. It’s a gorgeous bright and fresh location to start your day. Not to mention the pastries!!

10. Industry & Co

This new and very cool cafe doubles as a home decor shop. They have amazing salads, pastries and of course coffees that are worth a try. Grab a window seat looking out on Drury Street and people watch your day away.
