Hey guys,

I hope you all enjoyed the summery weekend we had here in Ireland. There really is no place like Ireland when the sun is shining. It doesn’t even matter how warm it is, if the sun is out, on the weekend – we are the happiest nation in the world. Legs are out, barbecues are smoking and Irish mammies are getting lots of laundry done 😉

I spent the weekend in Dublin and really made the most of it. I made it out to the beautiful Botanic Gardens where I shot this look, followed by an amazing Al Fresco lunch with my friend Dearbhla in Grand Canal Square on Saturday. My sunny Sunday consisted of walking the length of Dublin, enjoying the sun, and finishing off the weekend right with a lovely dinner in HQ. Continue Reading…

Tantastic Self-Tan in Ibiza

May 22, 2016

Life is better with a tan

Ok officially my last post from Ibiza I promise!

I’m home just about 2 weeks now and I wanted to share one last look from my week away! Then I’ll get back to planning the next trip 🙂 Here I am wearing a Primark Dress and Tantastic Self-tan, which I wore throughout my time in Ibiza. Lots of you have been asking me about the tan so I thought I’d share a little bit of info on it.  Continue Reading…

Faux Feather Look

May 20, 2016

Hey guys,

Happy Friday!! I’m so happy to see the weekend this week, especially now that it feels a little more summery in Dublin. The weather has been so nice lately, I’m hoping it stays this way.

I shot this look on Monday before heading for dinner in Saba with Lauren. I love that it’s warm enough to have a bit of fun with what I’m wearing again. I picked up this faux feather skirt from Sheinside recently and paired it with this basic white crop-top from Topshop. Over this I have my favourite summer wardrobe piece at the moment, my white blazer! I get so much wear out of it and can throw it over pretty much everything! I’m also wearing my new Adidas Superstar runners which I have fallen in love with since I bought them last week.  Continue Reading…

My Top 5 Brunch Spots in Dublin

May 17, 2016

If there’s one thing we are getting good at in Dublin, it’s gotta be brunching. I developed my love for brunch while living in New York last year and brought it home with me! Luckily it’s something Dublin restaurants are doing really well so I’m having a great time eating my way around the city.

I know the struggle of trying to find and decide on a nice place to eat with a group of friends so I thought I would do a compilation of some of my favourite places I’ve brunched at so far this year to hopefully help a few of you 🙂

If you have any brunch suggestions for me they are so welcome – I’m always looking for new places to eat. Snap me at @lou1409!

1. ‘Le Drunch’ at the Marker

The perfect Sunday treat – Le Drunch is a new concept brought from Paris to Dublin by The Marker Hotel. It’s a mix between Dinner and Lunch (hence the title) and after experiencing it I can promise it will do for both!

I got the Tiger Prawns to start, Pancakes for my main and finished up with Baked Alaska – as well as some cocktails, of course. The food tastes as good as it looks and it is safe to say I was full for the day after it. Le Drunch makes for the most relaxing Sunday afternoon and with the rooftop at The Marker now open for the summer months there is no better time to visit 🙂

See the full menu here.

2. Whitefriar Grill

This was my first brunch experience in Dublin and it was amazing. The menu covers all bases and is pretty reasonably priced. It’s no wonder it was recently awarded with the title ‘Best Brunch in Dublin‘. You can see the full menu here. Continue Reading…
