“You have to be the kind of person who can make the best out of a Tuesday. You know those people who live for the weekends? They’re wishing their life away. You have to find something worth living for or else you’ll look back and realise you’ve wasted your life away.”

Hey guys,

I hope your week is off to a good start and you haven’t got absolutely soaked in one of July’s moody rain showers. Sorry to be a typical Irish person now giving out about the weather but seriously, how crazy is it these days? It’s like monsoon season or something haha!

I shot this look last weekend – one second it was sunny and the next it was pouring rain. Oh and not to mention the wind! It’s definitely a big change weather wise from last summer in New York. On the plus side the shiny ground made a lovely background for these photos 😉

Like anything, it’s up to us to make the most out of it – that’s where the above quote comes in. “You have to be the kind of person who can make the best out of a Tuesday” – no excuses 🙂 We could sit around all day giving out about the glorious Irish Summer, but I have a feeling we’d look back in September and wish we did a little more to enjoy it. There’s definitely a nice relaxed vibe around with everyone coming and going from holidays, planning weekends away, concerts and upcoming festivals. Not to mention the fact that after work cocktails are never out of the question in the summer.

A few words on this look, I’m wearing all Penneys here. I picked up this playsuit for €8 – how good! It would be the perfect beach cover up and I can definitely see myself getting some wear out of this in the winter with a pair of tights. I paired this jumpsuit with my black winter boots (rainy day attire), my trusty denim jacket and this cute neck scarf – I’m loving these at the moment.

Anyway I’m off to try and make the most of the Tuesday … back to work I go, lol,

Louise x

Well, you look beautiful! I have been following you since I moved to Ireland (9 months lol) and I started to write my own blog as well. And you are a big inspiration for me because you live in this rainy country (:D) and you actually shoot in this horrible “summer” weather so I am inspired by you, what to wear and how to style some pieces. I come from Slovakia where I was for a holidays now for 12 days and it was so hot that I miss my lovely home and I really can´t believe this is the Irish summer… well thank you for being on blog scene, you are beautiful 🙂

Aw thanks so much Simi. I’m so happy to hear you like my blog. Shooting is definitely a struggle in Ireland but I’d like to think it makes it a little more exciting too (sometimes haha). Hope you have a great summer xx
