Hey guys,

Happy Friday! Sorry I’ve been a little bit lax on the blog the last week or so. If you follow me on Snapchat (username: lou1409) you will know I got a new job at work, so I’m delighted I’ll be staying on with Tourism Ireland for another while 🙂 I started my new job this week so I’ve been focusing on learning the ropes and settling into my new role.

I also took part in an exciting photoshoot this week for a new Irish jewellery brand ‘Cleo Roze‘ – they have the most gorgeous pendant necklaces and will be launching in October. If you’ve followed my blog for a while you’ll know I’m a bit of a jewellery fanatic. Their stuff is amazing so I’m sure you’ll be seeing a lot of it when it does hit shops! I posted a behind the scenes snap on my Instagram, you can see it here. Continue Reading…

Hey guys,

I hope you’re all having a good week and enjoying the sun! As usual Ireland has decided to have a little heatwave at the start of the work week 🙁 I have come to the conclusion that we should have the option to work a weekend day if it happens to be sunny during the week in Ireland – because our sunny days are so rare haha!

It’s just over two weeks until I will be enjoying some California sun though – so I can’t complain! Literally counting down the days 🙂

The next two weeks before travelling are busy ones. I just want to be as organised as possible before leaving so I can relax while I am away. I’m shooting Xposé later this week, starting a new role at work next week as well as shooting an exciting campaign for a new brand – I’ll share details when I can!  Continue Reading…

Exploring Copenhagen

August 13, 2016

Hey guys,

I hope you all had a good week. I had an especially nice one this week with a mid-week break to Copenhagen, Denmark with the Danish jewellery brand Dyrberg/Kern. I was lucky enough to travel with my blogger bestie Lauren – who took these photos for me 🙂

It’s great having friends you can work with. That’s definitely one of my favourite things about blogging. I’ve lots of exciting projects coming up over the next while with friends so keep an eye out for those!

Copenhagen itself is such a gorgeous city. It’s the perfect 2/3 day break especially if you treat yourself to a stay in one of the many 5 star Copenhagen hotels in the city. I felt like we saw a lot of what Copenhagen had to offer in that time. My top three tips of things to visit when in Copenhagen are:

  1. Tivoli Gardens – we spent most of the day here on Thursday. It’s the oldest theme park in the world and definitely the prettiest theme park I’ve ever been in. I’ve never been a fan of roller coasters or heights and luckily Lauren is the same so we spent the day wandering, eating popcorn and enjoying the pretty surroundings. Oh and we went to the park’s aquarium. If you follow me on Snapchat (username: lou1409) you will have seen this – and you will know what big kids we are haha!
  2. Copenhagen Port – this is where I took these snaps. As I have been told it is the Danish answer to Templebar. It’s got such a great buzz with lots of outside bars and restaurants where you can enjoy live music from the promenade. It’s also got these gorgeous houses and lots of boats which make for the perfect photo opp.
  3. Vor Frelsers Kirke – The view from the top of this tower which in English translates to “Church of our Saviour” is well worth the 400 step climb. You can look over the whole of Copenhagen and get some fab photos. See my photo on Instagram here. Again, I’m terrified of heights so I didn’t last too long up here but it was well worth the climb.

Hey guys,
I hope you all got a chance to enjoy some of the amazing weather over the weekend. It’s so rare in Ireland and the one good thing about that is you can be sure no one takes it for granted. I have been around Dublin for most of the summer, besides my trip to London in June – so I’ve been making the most of the nice weather when it has been here.

My summer holidays start this week with a trip to Copenhagen on Wednesday. I’m counting down the seconds. Continue Reading…
