Dresses for Day Time

February 28, 2018

Hey guys,

The weather is far from normal spring weather today – and I hope you’re all enjoying it as much as I am.

I’m taking today to relax and plan for the weeks ahead – oh and a little bit of online shopping. Sure what harm?

If you follow me on social media you’ll know I’m a fan of skirts and dresses – I wear them all the time. I’ve put together a collection of my favourite day dresses online at the moment – I hope you like them ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy shopping,

Vegas Travel Guide

February 26, 2018

Hi guys,

As you may have seen on my social media – I spent 5 days last week in Las Vegas, Nevada with the best group of girls – Rosie, Niamh and Lauren. We were invited over by the Tourist Board to explore everything Vegas had to offer and we had an absolute ball. To see what we got up to, watch my video here, but to learn a little more keep reading ๐Ÿ™‚

How we got there

We travelled to Las Vegas McCarren Airport with British Airways from Dublin via Heathrow. The flight to Heathrow was about 1 hour, we had a two hour layover and then a 10 hour flight to Vegas. The flight back was 2 hours shorter.

There are direct flights from Dublin too – and if you book in advance you can usually get a very reasonable rate for flights ๐Ÿ™‚

The Vegas Airport is literally 10 mins from the main strip. You can see all the hotels when you land so it’s very handy.

Where we stayed

We stayed in the MGM Grand hotel. It’s one of the largest hotels in Vegas with over 5,000 rooms. It has lots of outdoor pools (Wet Republic is based here in the spring/summer months), a gym, a food court and lots more ๐Ÿ™‚

What we got up to

We had a jam-packed itinerary for our 5 days in Vegas. Here’s what we got up to:

  • Seven Magic Mountains: About 30 mins from Vegas in the middle of the desert, visiting these colourful stacks of rocks was the perfect start to our trip. It was so unusual and cool to see.

On My Mind

On My Mind: Learning to Believe in Yourself

February 16, 2018

Hi guys,

So this week’s topic is something that really has been on my mind the past few weeks, and something I know myself I need to improve on: learning to believe in myself. Itโ€™s ironic Iโ€™m writing a post about it as itโ€™s probably not something I should be giving advice on. I’ve always struggled with self-doubt a little bit, and I know others do too. I know it might sound ridiculous coming from someone whoโ€™s job is to put themselves out there online, but Iโ€™m not always as confident or sure of myself as I make it out to be. I guess opening up and being honest about it will let others know theyโ€™re not alone when they feel that way – and it can be a little reminder for us all that feeling this way is just a feeling, and we need to learn to fight it.

Learning to believe in yourself can open up endless opportunities in your life. Continue Reading…

A Night Away at the Galgorm Resort and Spa

February 12, 2018

Hi there,

I’m just back from the most relaxing getaway to the Galgorm Resort and Spa in Ballymena. I head up there this weekend for one night and I had heard it was nice, but my god I couldn’t have expected it to be as nice as it was. From the second we arrived we were greeted by the friendliest staff, and it really has that ‘resort’ feel with everywhere being connected, warm, cosy and welcoming.

The Room

We were staying in a Deluxe River View Suite. It was modern and spacious with a seating area in the room as well as a big bed and bathroom. The room had a complimentary mini bar and snacks, which was a lovely surprise and treat. The view from our room was gorgeous, it overlooked the river and the hot pool/ jacuzzis. So you can see why we were excited to get down to the spa from the second we arrived.

The Spa

The spa in the hotel is just amazing. There is an outdoor hot pool, outdoor jacuzzis and an indoor pool/sauna that everyone can enjoy. Then there is also the Thermal Village which has private jacuzzis. Continue Reading…

2018 Travel Plans

February 8, 2018

Hey guys,

I hope you are all having a good week. I’m in full on prep mode for the travels I have coming up in the next few months. I haven’t had a chance to tell you all yet, because it happened so fast, but I’m going to VEGAS next Saturday!!! Ahhhh! The Tourist Board contacted me and asked me to join them on a press trip. I’m so excited because three of the girls Rosie, Lauren and Niamh are going too. I just really can’t wait to get some winter sun – the past month has just been so cold and miserable in Ireland.

I have always wanted to go to Las Vegas and I cannot wait to pay a visit to some of the amazing casinos out there. One of my friends is convinced that she is going to win big so she has been practicing her gambling skills by playing netent casino mobile games! I hope luck is on our side this trip…

Of course this means I am outfit planning like a mad woman. Time to whip out the summer wardrobe ๐Ÿ™‚ You can see a few summery bits I picked up in my most recent YouTube haul. Continue Reading…
