Festival Fashion

August 16, 2018

Hi guys,

My latest shopping post is my second festival fashion blog post of the summer but a couple of you have messaged me asking to do another one as a guide for Electric Picnic. Festival fashion is my favourite – it’s the one time you can really go all out and have a lot of fun with what you’re wearing. Here are all my favourite pieces online at the moment for festival wear. I hope you find something you like and have a ball if you are heading to EP!

Catch up soon,

Step into the new season: A/W Shoes

August 7, 2018

Hi guys,

While we are still weeks away from Autumn/ Winter – that hasn’t stopped all the new stuff hitting the shops, and judging from what I’ve seen they are selling fast. We still have a bit of time before we have to consider new-season coats and jumpers, but it is no harm getting ahead with new season shoes. In this blog post I’m going to briefly go through all the A/W shoe trends and show you guys my favourite online at the moment 🙂

Autumn/Winter 2018 is primarily about statement shoes: expect to see lots of bows, cowboy boots and brown (which is the new black!). Animal print is a massive trend across the board this coming season and there are lots of great shoes in animal print. Some of you may be happy or annoyed to hear that ‘Dad’ trainers are not going anywhere and are still a major trend. I wore my white ones a lot this summer so glad they can carry me into next season. A new style of heel to look out for is ones with square pointed toes- not sure about these yet but we’ll see!

I hope you find these trend led blog posts helpful- let me know if you want to see more of them!

50 Going Out Tops

August 3, 2018

Hi guys,

Anyone else running out of summer dresses at this stage? I have been on the hunt for some new going out tops which are my go-to going out look for Autumn. It is nice to get a few in your wardrobe ahead of the new season. Animal print is a big trend this coming season and you will see a few animal print pieces in this edit (and lots of it on the high street!). There are some fab shirts included as well which are such verstaile pieces to have in your wardrobe as they can be easily dressed up or down. I also love having a few good camis that can be worn as a top or worn under shirts and jumpers when it gets colder for layering.

Hope you see something you like and happy shopping 🙂

Loving Leopard

August 2, 2018

Hi guys,

This blog post is all about leopard print! The Autumn/Winter 2018 runways were filled with animal print so expect to see a lot of leopard print this coming season. If you want to get ahead of the trend but not sure how to style it then keep reading 🙂

Leopard print goes with so many colours and fabrics and can easily be dressed up or down. A blogger that I think wears leopard print so well is called @thefashionbugblog (worth a follow, I love her style) and she described leopard print as a neutral! While many of us aren’t that brave, I’m going to include some pictures (all from Pinterest) of the different ways you can wear leopard print.

Summer Accessories

July 17, 2018

Hi guys,

I am back with another summer themed shopping post. This time it is full of summer accessories! I love summer accessories especially when travelling as they can do not take up much space in a suitcase but can really change a look.

I have broken this post up into handbags, jewellery and sunglasses to make it easier to view 🙂

First up is summer bags which are so fun this season! Current bag trends I am loving are the Cult Gaia bags (and the multiple dupes), straw bags and bags in my colour of the season: yellow.  A good beach bag is also a summer essential for me as they can be brought from the beach to the plane! I also love bum bags especially for festivals. I’ve included a Pretty Little Thing one that I thought was very Fendi inspired.

Revolve Favourites

July 10, 2018

Hi guys,

Today I am sharing my top picks from Revolve as for the next 4 days they have 20% off site wide with the code ‘LOVERSFRIENDS’. There is also free shipping if you spend over €80.

I found so many new pieces and have added a few to my basket! Although Revolve has affordable pieces, it is known for having unusual and sometimes more expensive items so 20% can make a big difference! I’ve included some bags that are more expensive than high street but if you were looking to treat yourself now is the time! I love the See by Chloe bags and was looking at them if you’re wondering why there is a few included haha. They also have fab Marc Jacobs bags too. Revolve have accessories as well including sunglasses like my hexagonal Ray Bans that I get lots of questions about. The nice weather is the perfect excuse to buy new sunglasses!

Revolve also stock makeup and beauty which I don’t think many people know. The products such as Stila and Urban Decay appear to me to be better value on Revolve compared to in stores. They also stock Becca who have just released a collection with Chrissy Teigen (such a girl crush on her) and I have included the pieces that caught my eye from that collection too.

Hope you find something you like and are enjoying the sunshine today 🙂
