This past weekend, was a much anticipated one as I head to Miami Beach with three of the girls, Erika, Lorna & Lanlih, for some much needed beach time.
I am definitely a summer baby, and after the long cold winter in NYC I have definitely considered moving somewhere a bit warmer for a while. I would love LA, or any of the beachy towns in California – it’s definitely on my bucket list.
This is what I wore to the airport and arriving in Miami. Not exactly airplane attire but as you can tell I’m excited to finally be able to break out the summer wardrobe.This was my second trip to Miami this year. I’m all for exploring different places – but I just couldn’t say no when the option came up to go again. It is such an easy weekend getaway from New York. A short three hour flight and the fact that there is no time difference is a major plus. It meant we could go after work on Friday and come back on Sunday night in time for work on Monday. A holiday without using holiday days!
Miami has it all! The Art Deco area is so retro and pretty, the sand is white, the sea is aqua blue, the nightlife is the best ever, not to mention all the palm trees (my favourite).
