Hi everyone,
Here is my second and last look from New York last week. I shot this look with Edelle outside the Plaza Hotel on 5th Avenue. I felt so glam in my All Black & Fur, the perfect outfit for a day of shopping, wandering and catching up with friends.
It was so nice to be back and to get a feel for New York again. There’s an energy in the city that can’t be found anywhere else. I’ll admit it takes some getting used to – my feet weren’t quite ready for all the walking and my body wasn’t prepared for the jam packed week that was organised, but I still left the city feeling rejuvenated.
I’ve said it time and time again but New York really is such an inspiring place, there is just a vibe in the air that “anything is possible”. One of the most valuable lessons I learnt from living in New York last year was that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. You have to see it yourself first and then make it your reality. Hard work and self belief can get you a long way
Your vision of where and who you want to be is the greatest asset you have.
This can be in relation to anything really – goals, big or small. Being back in the city filled with dreamers and opportunities really reminded me of what I loved about the city, and the different mindset I went home to Ireland with as a result. The optimism of the city is pretty contagious
