This weekend is a sad one for my family and I as we mourn the loss of a close family friend who passed away suddenly last weekend. Life is strange – we’re all so busy running around getting on with our own lives we sometimes forget how quickly it can all be taken from us.
It’s a hard one to think about for too long – but I guess maybe it is something we should consider more often. If you were gone tomorrow would you be happy with your time here? It’s an important thing to remember and if you were to live life with that mindset I imagine you’d live a very fulfilling life.
Sorry to get so deep on here – I usually don’t, but I just think when shocking things like this happen it’s important to take something from it, and to take a step back and appreciate what we have – something I’m sure we all don’t do often enough.
Anyway, a few words on this look I shot in Ibiza last week. I picked up this fab crochet maxi dress from Littlewoods Ireland, I thought it would be the perfect beach cover up, and I was right. I wore this to the beach and then was able to throw it over my bikini to go and grab some lunch in Ibiza Old Town afterwards. I love the two side slits on the dress – and lets face it crochet anything is amazing this summer!
