The hardest thing about exercise is to start doing it. Once you are doing exercise regularly, the hardest thing is to stop.
Hey guys,
I hope you’re all having a good week. You might remember at the start of the year, after 7 months without exercising I decided to get back into the gym and give being healthier a good go in 2016. I’m half way through the year now so taking a note from my friend Erika‘s book, I thought it was probably time to revisit this on the blog.
I’ve definitely incorporated it into my lifestyle and I make an effort to go to the gym and exercise a few times a week. Mainly I go to TRX class, Spinning class or I do a mix of cardio (usually running on the Treadmill) and some core/ ass exercises.
Of course I have weeks where I don’t go at all, usually the time before, after and during travelling (something I need to work on! I found Stephanie’s blog post on staying healthy on holidays very interesting) but in general when I’m having a normal week I enjoy it, and it’s something I look forward to. It’s the one thing I can do to relieve stress, find energy and feel better about myself in general.
As usual, this has given me another reason to expand my wardrobe and invest in some new gym clothes. I picked up these white Nike Prestos, Nike gym leggings and Nike gym top in JD Sports in Dundrum a few weeks ago. There’s nothing quite like new gym clothes for that little bit of motivation 😉
Anyway I’ll be back later in the week with more updates,
Louise x
