Hey guys,
With the weekend on the horizon again, I thought it was a good time to do a round up of something I’d like to think I have a lot of experience in
Cocktail tasting!
There are so many great places in Dublin to go for drinks and I know sometimes it’s hard to remember where’s good or to think of somewhere new. Hopefully this list will give you some Inpso for places to go and encourage you to make some plans
It is summer after all!
- Harrys on the Green
This bar is located right beside Stephens Green shopping centre in Dublin and is known for its great cocktails. It’s a nice casual spot which is perfect for dinner and drinks. They have a big bar downstairs as well as an outdoors area so it’s good in summer and winter.

2. The Restaurant in Brown Thomas
If you seek pretty cocktails and on point decor this is the place for you. It’s a good place to come for some light tapas and a few cocktails. It’s a quiet, relaxed atmosphere – so a nice place to catch up with a friend you haven’t seen in a while. Of course the menu is a little bit more on the pricey side so it is a treat – but sure we all deserve a treat every now and then

3. Saba Dublin
Located on Clarendon Street and Baggot Street in Dublin this Thai Restaurant a great option for some food and drinks, especially for a group. The portions are nice and big – and the food is so delicious! It’s not easy to find restaurants where their drinks are as good as their food – but they are here. It would be a great birthday spot!

4. The Morrison Bar and Grill
Located in the Morrison Hotel on Ormand Quay this hands down has to go down as the funnest cocktail bar in Dublin. They create a menu for Christmas called ‘The 12 cocktails of Christmas’ and again for Easter and probably every other holiday. The bar manager Lewis holds regular competitions with the bar staff for who can create the best cocktail. Other than the cocktails; the food, the decor and the atmosphere are amazing too.

5. Fade Street Social
For me the location of this bar and restaurant gives it major brownie points. There are a few nice bars you can head to after trying out this trendy spot, namely: the Market Bar, No Name Bar and L’Gueuleton – who doesn’t love a mini bar crawl
This restaurant also has a nice open rooftop which is fab in the summer.

6. The Marker Bar
Located in Grand Canal Square this fab bar located in the Marker hotel makes a serious cocktail. Again it’s menu is a little on the pricey side but it is the perfect spot for a girls night out.

7. The Mint Bar in the Westin
Located in the Westin Hotel on Westmoreland Street this underground bar is a hidden gem in Dublin’s city centre. Their gin cocktails cannot be beaten!

8. House Dublin
This spot is definitely one of my favourites in Dublin for cocktails. They are just so pretty and the decor in this place is to die for. Every bloggers dream haha!

9. Sophies at The Dean
I coudln’t make a list about cocktails in Dublin and not include Dublin’s best city centre rooftop bar. I love this place, the drinks and the relaxed atmosphere make it the perfect spot for nice chilled drinks with a friend, or even a date

10. Farrier and Draper
You literally can’t do a cocktail post on Dublin and not include somewhere on South William Street. This newly opened bar is definitely worth a try.

I hope you enjoyed this post and all the cocktails there are to come hopefully
Let me know if you have any suggestions for me – I’m always looking for places to try,
Enjoy the long weekend everyone,
Louise x
