Hey guys,

I hope you’re all having a good week. This week has been so busy getting organised for London Fashion Week this weekend. Outfit and schedule planning is a lot harder than you’d think. This is my second London Fashion Week, I went for my first time back in September with no idea what to expect. This time with the experience of one fashion week behind me, I am a little more organised,  although it really doesn’t feel like it now.

I registered as a blogger with the British Fashion Council and as a result have been getting lots of great invites to events, presentations and shows – so much so that I definitely won’t be able to fit it all in, but that’s not a bad complaint. At the moment I plan to be at the Julien MacDonald and Jasper Conranshows, the Palmer/Harding, Le Kilt and Aspinal of London Presentations as well as River Island Film Screening. Invites to shows are usually very last minute so I wouldn’t be surprised if my plans change again before the end of the week.

Outfit wise while I’m over I’ll be mainly wearing high street & online retailers (as always): Karen Millen, River Island, Oasis, Boohoo.com & PrettyLittleThing.com. Follow me on Instagram (@louisecooney_), Facebook (louisecooney.com) and Snapchat (lou1409) for all the outfit details over the weekend.

I really am there to experience as much as I can – but more importantly to enjoy it. At the end of the day, being able to go to London Fashion week is really cool so once the outfits and shows are sorted I’m gonna just embrace it and have fun. I’m there for the whole weekend this time – Friday morning until Monday evening, so I’ll really get a feel for the fashion week chaos. I am travelling over with one of my best friends Dearbhla who has recently started her own blog which she will be launching really soon, check out her Instagram in the meantime. We’ll be staying with another one of my best friends Eve, so I’m really looking forward to some girly brunches and catch ups while I’m over too.

Just a few words about this outfit – I shot this look on my lunch break with Eavan in Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre and yep, another cape. I think I’m running out of colours to get capes in

I just love them – they really make an outfit look so much more polished than it is, and they’re so easy! I picked up this cape and the sunglasses from Romwe. They have some really nice stuff – and at really good prices too, definitely worth a look.

This weekend is actually my graduation weekend as well – I was supposed to be attending my graduation ceremony on Saturday for the Post Grad in International Business which I completed in December… but you know.. priorities

So we’ll just have to celebrate in London instead – oh well

Louise x
