This week was definitely a weird one in New York. Between having my phone stolen at the weekend, being sick on Tuesday and finding out my start date in Dublin yesterday – it’s all been a big change from my usual NYC life.
My year with Tourism Ireland in New York is coming to an end at the start of September and I will head back to Dublin to work in the head office for a year. It’s such great experience to be able to work internationally and in Ireland. I’m looking forward to the new experiences in Dublin, and even though I’m not quite sure I’m ready to leave here yet, I’m definitely ready to move back to my boyfriend, friends and family.
The New York to-do list has been taken back out and the Dublin to-do list has begun. I really believe in making the most of any situation, as the saying goes “The grass is greener where you water it” – and let’s be honest the grass is actually a lot greener in Ireland haha.

Until then, I will be ticking off the rest of my NYC list and enjoying the summer evenings and weekends. You can keep up to date on my Instagram & Snapchat (lou1409).
This look is perfect for a summer evening in the city – it was featured on my recent style diary with the Independent.ie.
Anything white (you may have guessed) I’m a big fan of and I love this floral midi skirt – it’s so summery and feminine. Here are some pics of me in the Palace courtyard pretending to be Serena xoxo.
The New York dream is still going strong for the moment!
