Hi everyone,
I hope your week is off to a good start – despite the crazy bi-polar weather, but hey it gave me a good excuse to drink wine last night so I won’t complain
I’m using these quiet weeks at home to get my head around my new routine that is ‘full-time blogging’, and I have to say I am loving it. I’m figuring out my new schedule between meetings, events, emails, writing and shooting blogposts, and all the other random bits and bobs I do every day
I’m also getting stuck in to some things that I haven’t had a chance to in so long, and I’m loving the new sense of calmness that has come with it too. I have time to do things I’ve been neglecting for months like seeing my family and friends, working on some new things for the blog, and most importantly I’ve just been taking a little more me time.
My main goals for the next few months is to do lots more fashion, fitness and video content for my blog. And of course there will be lots of travelling! I have some really exciting trips coming up in September. Let the outfit planning commence! I will tell you more about them as soon as I have everything confirmed, but I promise you it won’t be boring
Another thing I’m really working on is simply to become more confident in myself. It’s weird to write that, and to talk about it here, but honesty is the best policy when it comes to blogging isn’t it? I share a lot online everyday and I don’t want you to think that it’s all perfect and easy. The creative side of the blog is easy part for me (most of the time), but I find sharing things quite difficult sometimes. I want to give you more than a pretty picture, I want you all to understand the back-story so I’m working on opening up a bit more and being more myself on camera so you can all get to know my personality better. If you follow me on Snapchat (lou1409) you will see I’ve been talking to the camera a lot more than I used to, and I’m also going to start doing more everyday vlogs for my YouTube channel (subscribe here) starting with my ‘What I Eat in A Week’ vlog next week.
Here I’m wearing a new H&M wrap blouse I picked up yesterday and I love – I think it compliments my tan really well with the white denim skirt. If you’ve been following me on social media you’ll know I’m wearing the St Tropez gradual tan all summer – for face and for body, and I’m loving it. See more about the tan here.
Anywho, that’s all for now,
I am waiting on the blogger girls to arrive for lunch
Chat soon,
Louise x
