Hi guys,

Coachella is over almost a week and a half now (where has the time gone!) – I’m only back from LA a few days but I just realised I never did a post on my Coachella outfits.

I began brainstorming, researching and shopping for outfits in January. The fashion at Coachella is nearly just as important as the music. I wanted to be true to my own style while also having fun with what I wore and taking a few risks.

On the first day I wore all black with a vintage embellished Moschino waistcoat that I bought on ASOS Marketplace. I turned a kimono into a skirt with the help of the ZipYard and wore a high waisted Nastygal swimsuit underneath (which the desert heat allowed for).

On the second day I went for a more boho, colourful vibe wearing a cropped co-ord by the California brand Blue Life with a Versace headscarf.

The last day was my most simple look but sometimes less is more – I wore a bandana as a top (which I bought on ASOS) with a pair of denim shorts (Revolve), cowboy boots (Nastygal) and a fedora hat (ASOS).

I got my ideas from so many places: instagram, pinterest, other fashion bloggers, celebrities, online shops. I recorded a video before I left talking through the steps I go through when I’m outfit planning – you might find it helpful if you have a big event coming up (or even for Coachella next year – it’s never too early to start planning haha!)

Which of my 3 outfits was your favourite? Leave a comment and let me know! I think if I had to choose I’d nearly go for the last one – I know I’ll wear each of those pieces again because they are very in line with my style. But it was fun to do something a bit different on the other days too.

I’ll be back ASAP with a travel diary with all the details on Coachella and LA,

Chat to you all soon,

Lou x
