Happy Friday!!!
Can you believe it’s almost August already? Where has the last year gone? I feel like this has been the fastest year of my life!!! I remember this time last year I was dreading coming home from New York. I really didn’t want to leave but I knew I had to, as the second year of my contract with Tourism Ireland was here in Dublin. My original plan when I came back was to get the next year over as quick as possible and go back to New York – which seems so stupid looking back.
I love Dublin now, it’s such a fun place to live. If you follow me on Snapchat (username: lou1409) you’ll know every week there are cool festivals and events and there are always new restaurants and bars to try. I did a list of my top ten favourite places to grab a cocktail in Dublin earlier in the week, you can see it here. I’m gonna start researching for my next top ten list tonight, my first stop is the Exchequer – who just won ‘Best Cocktail Experience in Ireland’ at the RAI Awards.
Even though I don’t yet know what my plans are work-wise after August 31st – I’m excited to see where the next year will take me. I’m a big believer in making the most out of every day and every situation. I think no matter where you are, with that attitude it’s bound to make you happy

A few words on this look – another off the shoulder top! They’re just not getting old. Although we mightn’t be getting the weather for them here, we are certainly getting the muggy heat. I paired this baby pink top with white denim shorts from River Island and a Western Buckle belt from Boohoo. I’ve linked similar items below
