Playing dress up begins at age 5 and never truly ends – Kate Spade
This shoot has to go down as the funnest blog shot I’ve ever done with my fab friend Niamh from Love Life Blog. We were asked by Dorothy Perkins to work together to create two occasion wear looks for the summer months ahead. What I love about this is how you can see both of our styles shining through. Niamh is working this “Suit Look” and I’m wearing a more feminine, girly look. I just love the fit of this pink dress; the skater shape, the midi length and the off-the shoulder detailing would be flattering on any shape. I paired it with nude heels and a matching nude clutch for simplicity and added this pearl bracelet to finish off the look.
If you’ve been following me on Snapchat (username: lou1409) you’ll know this was our second time shooting the look as the first time we lost a lot of our images – so a big thank you to Niamh’s mom who shot these photos for us so last minute! Despite the freezing weather (slight exaggeration) and the early start on a Sunday morning we still managed to have a lot of fun with it
