God time is going so fast! I shot this look over 2 weeks ago now, I’ve been so busy between travelling, work and just summer in general that I’m just getting a chance to catch up now. I took these photos right before heading to a NYLON Magazine Party in the Dream Hotel in Chelsea (some of you may remember from my Snapchat: lou1409 –here’s a quick video with my friends Brittany & Abby at the event).
I’m loving the New York summer evenings so much. Especially now that I live in Manhattan – I can walk everywhere so I never have an excuse not to go to things. Every night there is something different on – it really is the best place in the world to be living in your twenties. I just wish it came with an endless supply of energy. I’ve never really understood the saying “There aren’t enough hours in the day”, until I lived here.
This week began with a concert on Monday night in the West Village, Tuesday evening was spent at a Men’s Fashion Week ShopStyle event in Chelsea & last night I went to do a bit of shopping in French Connection before grabbing some fab Mexican food in the cutest restaurant ‘Tacombi‘ in Soho. This all happens after a full working day from 9 to 5. It’s just so normal in NYC to always be on the go – and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
It’s definitely not going to slow down any time soon – but I’m not complaining. Myself and the girls (Michaela, Erika &Lorna) booked a trip to the Hampton’s for a weekend at the end of the month & next month I have a work trip to Milwaukee & Chicago to look forward to.
