SUNDAY’S ON THE SEAPORT

This past weekend Sunday was spent on South Street Seaport catching up with friends. This area has to be one of my favourite in the city (I do tend to say this about every area) – but in the summer this relaxing spot by the water is the best. With the boardwalk and boats it almost feels like you’re not in the city at all. There is also a little market with music and food stalls every Sunday too – so it’s easy to see why we spent the day wandering around this area.

My friend Audrey from Connecticut came into visit me this weekend – I met Audrey 4 years ago when I was on my first J1 visa in the states. She was my manager in Hollister. Two years later  – thanks to Instagram, we realised we were next door neighbours in Dublin. Audrey returned to the US in June of last year – and I followed on in September. She is moving back to Ireland in September – and guess who’s gonna follow her back? Haha I think our friendship is just meant to be. I’m excited to have her back in Ireland with me next year and looking forward to enjoying the summer in the city together first!

I also caught up with my good friends Abby, Wazha & Gavin. It’s crazy to think how I didn’t know any of these people 8months ago – it feels like I know them a lifetime now. For all the updates add me on snapchat – lou1409.
