Hi guys,

I can’t believe I’m back in Ireland almost 3 weeks already, where has the time gone? I finally moved into my new apartment on Monday so I’m really excited to get set up into a routine and to start decorating again!! In New York, I was subletting and always knew I was coming home after the year, so I never spent any time decorating or making it homely – so I’m excited to do that again. I’ve been spending way too much time on Pinterest apartment dreaming.

This outfit was shot in my new neighbourhood, which I’m still getting to know. The weather is getting a little chillier every day – I can feel winter approaching so I’m trying to make the most of not wearing a coat while I can.

Three weeks in Ireland and I feel like I’m getting into the swing of Dublin again. There is so much going on here at the moment. I’ve been to lots of great events since I’ve been home, one of my definite favourites being the IMAGE magazine networking breakfast with Marissa Carter from Cocoa Brown, Rhona Murphy from The Daily Beast and Joan Mulvihill from Irish Internet Association in the Marker Hotel (where I shot this look). It was nice to hear such successful Irish women talking about their experiences and giving advice – there was lots of updates on my Snapchat & Twitter (louisecooney_). I am partial to some inspirational quotes, two of my favourites from the day were ‘If you don’t live of compliments, you won’t die from criticism’ and ‘Choose courage over comfort’.

As well as all the cool events going on, I’ve also been checking out some of the great new restaurants there are in Dublin. For lunch you have to try the Fumbally Café and Green Bench, so healthy and delicious. For Dinner, Neon (Chinese) and Xico (Mexican) are definitely worth checking out.
